Understand, practice, master all the compases of flamenco.
Demystify their character, their dynamics, their structure, their breath. Learn the rhythmic vocabulary of each compás: the soniquete, the llamadas, remates, cierres, and more. Whether you want to play palmas and nudillos, sing, chant rhythms, walk in rhythm, dance, or count — we offer a multitude of exercises and original educational tools specially designed for you.
Never get lost in the compás again, or at least, know how to always find your way back again!
Group schedule:
- Contact me directly to establish the schedule that suits you best!
- You can integrate a group of people you do not know, the experience can be extremely rewarding! Contact me to find out the schedules of existing groups or to join the waiting list for a new group.
- Group lessons open as soon as a minimum of 5 people is reached (max 10 people). The schedules will be established according to the availability of everybody in the group.
IMPORTANT:
- The members of a group must necessarily be of uniform level. If you want to join an existing group or if you have already formed a group of students, please contact me before scheduling.
- By default, the 4 sessions will be scheduled once a week for 4 consecutive weeks, the same day at the same time as your first reservation. If this does not suit you, please contact me and we will find the hours that suit you!
- If you cannot attend a class, we’ll certainly miss you, but don’t worry! A recording of the session will be sent to you!

Just wow! Often in Flamenco we are told to “listen to Compás” but not necessarily the nuances of each c of Compás/palos. Guillermo did this in spades! In order to make Flamenco sound “Flamenco” rather than stable and neutral, I’ve found his approach to playing the Compás/rhythm/Palmas to be invaluable… revolutionary even!
